When to Go
The best time to visit Virginia is during the spring, when the weather is most pleasant, and autumn, when the fall foliage is breathtaking. To celebrate America's independence, visit Colonial Williamsburg on the 4th of July, which includes public readings of the Declaration of Independence and a fireworks display.
