Oklahoma’s capital city is also a Mecca for sports fans, being the home of the Oklahoma City Thunder, of the NBA, and Oklahoma City Dodgers, a Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

When to Go
The best time to visit Oklahoma City is from September to November when the weather is mild. Spring is also pleasant, and late April is when the famous Festival of the Arts occurs.
