A highlight of any visit to Glacier National Park is the Going-to-the-Sun Road, a 50-mile scenic drive that crosses the Continental Divide at Logan Pass. The drive affords breathtaking views of glacial lakes, forests, and alpine tundra.
When to Go
With long days and daytime temperatures hovering in the low 80s, June to September offers the perfect setting for outdoor adventures. Unsurprisingly, the park is also busiest at this time, so consider visiting in May & September if you prefer to avoid the crowds
