About Captiva Island

Sanibel’s sister island, Captiva, sits due north along Florida’s sun-drenched southwest coast. This enchanting isle offers soft white sugary sands, plus a slice of life from a more gentile time. Its location gives visitors a unique view of the Gulf of Mexico, where people play golf, tennis, and pickleball, which combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong into one easygoing game.
