Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center - This sanctuary is dedicated to preserving the state's wildlife and is the forever home of orphaned and injured animals.
When to Go
The best time to visit Alaska is during the summer months when the days are long and the weather the most pleasant. Keep in mind that winter temperatures in Alaska can frequently plunge below zero.
