Offering more temperate weather and fewer tourists, late spring and early fall are the best times to visit Florence and Tuscany. Summer can get quite hot, with temperatures climbing to the mid-90s F. Winter is the perfect time to head indoors and enjoy Florence's museums at a leisurely pace without the crowds.
