Families will enjoy the playground and calm waters of Playa Herradura cove. A little further north, the scenic coves of Playa Mantas and Playa Blanc beckon.

Enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables, artisanal breads, cheeses and other treats while mingling with the locals at the feria (farmers market) on Friday mornings on Avenue Pastor Diaz.
When to Go
When winter arrives in North America, summer springs upon Jacó. This dry season runs from January through April. Average monthly temperatures in Jaco reach their lowest point in October, around 79 F degrees, and their highest in March at 83 F.
September and October are the rainiest, most humid months. The mountainous jungles surrounding the town can be as much as 10 degrees cooler than the beaches.
