What To Do
Swim with stingrays beneath Dominica’s sparkling Caribbean seas. Soak in Boiling Lake, the world’s second-largest hot spring.

Snorkel amid coral reefs along stunning black- and white-sand beaches. Travel to the southern end of Dominica to greet its resident population of playful dolphins and sperm whales.
Dominica’s lively capital is set along the banks of the Roseau River. Morne Bruce, an 18th-century fort, offers a fantastic vantage point over the city, to the sparkling sea below.
Roam the lush grounds of the Dominica Botanical Gardens in Roseau. Hike a portion of the 115-mile Waitukubuli Trail through pristine mountains, waterfalls, hot springs and local farms.
Or simply ride a speedboat around the entire island for a full day of adventure.
When to Go
Dominica boasts balmy weather with average temperatures hovering around the mid-80s F. The mountains are a bit cooler and wetter, especially during the rainy season between July and October.
Winter is the best time to visit this verdant isle, although any time is a good time to vacation here.
