Harbour Island offers a veritable treasure trove of marine life off its shores. Colorful fish, turtles, and stingrays swim amid the island’s magnificent coral reefs, such as Devil's Backbone. It is little wonder, then, that the island is a favorite among divers.

When to Go
The maximum temperatures in Harbour Island reach around 90 F during the summer months of June, July, and August. Through most of the year, the weather remains sunny with temperatures from the 60s through the 80s F.
The majority of rainfall arrives in May and lasts through October, with June being the wettest month and February the driest.
Fast Facts
The sand on Pink Sand Beach is a mixture of broken shells, coral, small rocks and calcium carbonate from minuscule marine animals. The pink comes from microscopic animals called foraminifera that live on sea floors, caves, and reefs.
