When to Go
Temperatures vary from 70 F to 88 F, with few days below 65 F or above 90 F. The rainy season lasts from mid-May to the beginning of November. The drier season runs from November through mid-May. It is most humid from mid-April to the end of December.
Fast Facts
The oldest known macro-fossils on earth, called stromatolites, can be found on Stocking Island in the Exumas.
Domesticated swimming pigs live on the Major Exumas’ Spot Cay and, whenever a boat arrives, they swim out hoping to be fed.
