What to See
South Korea’s second-largest city is blessed with beaches and temples. Haeundae Beach is the city’s most famous and popular, while Songjeong Beach is a mecca for surfers. See one of South Korea’s few seaside temples, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. Busan is also home to Gamcheon Culture Village, aka “Santorini on the South Sea.”
When to Go
The best time to visit Busan is May and June, when the weather is pleasant and perfect for the beach. If visiting to watch the cherry blossoms bloom, plan your trip for mid-March to early April.
