Overview
Located off the southwest coast of India, the Maldives consists of around 26 coral atolls. Characterized by luxury water villa resorts, pristine white sands and a gorgeous marine life, the Maldives are one of the world's most beautiful island destinations. Resorts are accessed by a short, scenic seaplane or speedboat ride from the capital, Male.
When to Go
The best time to visit the Maldives is during the dry season between November and April, when the temperatures are in the 80s and rain is scarce. Experience less crowds, especially in the capital city of Male, during the wet season, which runs from May through November.
