Day 1 – Lima
Arrival at the airport. Transfer to hotel and check-in assistance. Evening at leisure.
Day 2 – Lima
Morning Half-Day Lima City Tour & Larco Museum includes guided sightseeing tour featuring Lima’s historical center, Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, city hall, cathedral and its religious art museum, and San Francisco Monastery. Residential Districts of San Isidro and Miraflores are on the agenda as well as El Olivar Park, Central Park of Miraflores, El Parque del Amor & Larco Museum. Afternoon and evening at leisure.
Day 3 – Cusco/Sacred Valley
Transfer to the airport for flight to Cusco. Luggage sent to hotel. Full-Day Andean Textile Center & Pisac Market Tour includes textile dying and weaving demonstrations, introduction to South American camelids (Huanaco, Llama, Alpaca and Vicuña), Pisac Market and boxed lunch. Transfer to hotel in Sacred Valley.
Day 4 – Sacred Valley
Full-Day Tour of Maras Saltpans & Moray Terraces & Ollantaytambo includes lunch at local restaurant (set menu).
Day 5 – Machu Picchu
Full-Day Excursion to Machu Picchu includes transfer to train station, train ticket, bus transportation between Aguas Calientes and the citadel of Machu Picchu, guided tour of the citadels and lunch in a local restaurant. Transfer to hotel in Machu Picchu.
Day 6 – Machu Picchu/Cusco
Morning at leisure to explore Machu Picchu, enjoy the hot springs and revisit the citadel, includes a second entrance fee to Machu Picchu. Afternoon train transfer to Cusco. Transfer to hotel in Cusco.
Day 7 – Cusco
Half-Day Ancient Landmarks City Experience includes Santo Domingo Church, San Cristobal, Sacsayhuaman Fortress site, Inca Baths of Tambomachay, Main Plaza of Cusco, guided cathedral tour. Afternoon and evening at leisure.
Day 8 – Cusco/Lima
Transfer to the Cusco Airport. Check-in and departure assistance at airports in Cusco City & Lima.
