About This Hotel

Originally conceived as the Convent of Loios in the 15th century, it was later transformed into a private residence by Manuel Cardoso dos Santos. Set within a carefully restored 18th-century palace overlooking the renowned Liberdade Square, the InterContinental Porto Palacio das Cardosas hotel's design stays true to the building's heritage while offering a host of contemporary accents and modern comforts. Deluxe rooms overlook the beautiful Patio das Carosas, an enclosed garden serving as an oasis of calm in the heart of the city. Choose an Executive room for upgraded amenities and views over Liberdade Square or enjoy expansive accommodations with separate living areas and private balconies when you upgrade to a suite. The hotel offers an elegant dining experience at the Astoria Restaurant and the Cardosas Bar, as well as spa and wellness treatments. Planning an event is easy with three meeting rooms and event space accommodating up to 150 guests.
