Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna, Helsinki
Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna, Helsinki
About This Hotel
The Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna is a historic landmark hotel located in the heart of Helsinki. The hotel was designed for the 1952 Olympics, with the architecture, large windows, interior design, and overall style reflecting that history today, including the original brass lamps designed by Paavo Tynell that still illuminate guests. The 10th-floor rooftop restaurant, 10.Kerros, is a charming and dynamic feature, serving local Finnish cuisine and sweeping panoramic views across the entire top floor. Finnish saunas can also be found on-site for guests to relax and unwind after a long day within the city.
